I've been to Sandy Oaks - Olives with a Texas Accent! (TM), for the weekly tour on Saturdays. It was very informative. I recommend it highly if you want to see some olive trees and check out the equipment for processing olives.

Sandy Winokur, who runs the place and is named on the front page of the site, was one of the pioneers in getting the industry started in Texas.

I've been using their olive oil for several years. Good stuff. It also is a great gift to send folks in other states. I buy the Texas Olive Oil at Central Market.

Learn something new every day! That's pretty cool, and I will look for it the next time I get to HEB, which shouldn't be too long!

Now that I know it's good, I'll buy some next time I see it. Thanks.
