Well, we have the largest in the NFL. Vegas or some other NASCAR track or stadium will take the new title.

This is what we're talking about when people say you're full of ****. Your shiny new Cynthia Woods Pavilion is basically just a newer model of Gexa Energy, same exact setup. And if you used the same standards as you do for other things like sports arenas, you would be complaining that Cynthia Woods is way out in the middle of suburbia, not even in Houston, while Dallas's outdoor venue is more convenient and reigns supreme because it's right in the heart of the city in historic Fair Park. But, then again, you're full of it and move the goal posts for whatever makes Houston look superior.
Nothing selective about honest reviews.

Per Google

Gexa Energy Pavilion - 3.7 stars 20 reviews

Cynthia Woods Pavilion - 4.2 stars 74 reviews

Doesn't matter if the venue is out in suburbia or in the middle of the city, people drive 100's of miles just to go to concerts. Gexa opened in 1988. CWP in 1990. You wouldn't know it by simply looking at them. Gexa looks like it could've been built back in the 60's & CWP in the 2000's.

You can slap all the Rustoleum on Gexa you want (and trust me it needs it), its still an ugly venue.

And we've now invented big screen action at the motor speedway. Who will copy us first........well Houston yall can't copy this one.....y'all would have to build. A 200,000 seat motor speedway first.....oh and knowing Houston it would be downtown.

Key word DFW.

Houston concentrates all of its sports venues inside the loop, not spread out over a 30+ mile radius.

But everybody in Houston dont live in the loop so the MAJORITY of people going to ANY type of sporting event will indeed be traveling 20-30 miles to get "ITL".

Classic Metro Matt contradiction, on the same page no less.

With concert arenas it doesn't matter that Houston's is way outside of the city while Dallas's is in the core, but with sports arenas Houston's smaller venues are automatically superior because they're closer to downtown. Love how you can't help yourself to move the goalposts to anywhere that makes Houston look better and Dallas worse.

I tried to positively rate this post one hundred times, but it wouldn't let me.

You can keep your rotting pavilion that's been like 100 different names over the years & looks like it was built in the 1960's.

The Woodlands Pavilion is at least modern looking, in an attractive area near a riverwalk & has kept the same name for the past 23 years.
