Looking to move north from Azle. I work in Wichita Falls, hubby works in DFW, need to be some where in between.

How is Bowie, Texas. Are the schools good? I have a 12 yr old and an 8 yr old. How is the crime?

I just researched the Bowie area as I was buying a lot near the lake. I found nice things.

Default Bowie Texas

I just spent some time there researching land, lots, etc. I think it is a nice small Texas town. I was originally from Wichita Falls. I like it's location because you get the small town atmosphere, but close enough to get to either Wichita Falls or Fort Worth easily. Cute downtown in a very nostalgic style. I think it is a place I could definitely call home.

Yeah, I was going to say that I hope OP's now 18-year old child did well in whatever school system chosen.

How do people even find these ancient threads? I really don't understand...
