Well, I wasn't going to get into this one, simply because there's just too much to try and pick from. I love it all, country cooking, tex-mex, Bar-b-que, anything fried, cornbread crumbled up in a big ole glass or goblet of sweet milk, BUT, I do love a good old fashioned cheeseburger. The one with everything on it, buns that have been buttered, then put on the griddle, where the patties have cooked, to brown up. Just a good, ole greasy cheeseburger, mmmm. Love the smell of a kitchen after burgers have been cooked.

It occured to me that maybe the reason the term "ink pen" is somewhat common in Texas is because we (like in other parts of the South) tend to blur the pronunciation between pen and pin (I know I do! ~L~).
Soooooo perhaps it was/is a way to distinguish between the two...? Hey, makes sense to me!
