How is traffic on this highway between the 2 cities? How is it in Austin, how is it in San Antonio?

REALLY REALLY horrible during the four hours surrounding morning or afternoon rush hour...just plain horrible any other time. Suck it up and pay the tolls on 130. Your sanity is worth more than your dollars in this case.

Really heavy during rush hour. Check it out on Google maps during the times you think you will be commuting, click on the "traffic" box on the left, it will show how heavy and/or slow it is.
