I know this question has been asked before, but it looks like the responses were relatively old, so I apologize for any repetition!

I currently live in Dallas, and my kids are enrolled in a Dallas ISD school. My eldest has cerebral palsy and, while he resides most of the day in a regular classroom, he does receive special education services.

We aren't seeing him receive the help he needs in Dallas ISD, though. We are moving in May, and I am just trying to see if anyone has had any success with the special education services in neighboring districts? I work in Plano so we were hoping to stay around there, but we'll go where we need to go for him to receive the education he needs. Does anyone have any positive/negative feedback on the districts, or any experience they could share? Thanks!

My kids went to Richardson ISD schools. Both are special needs. My oldest is autistic and the other is extremely bright. They had the absolute best attention and opportunities I could imagine. I'd highly recommend. Specifically they went to JJ Pearce HS and Richardson N. Jr. HS.

Thank you so much for this feedback! We actually found a real nice apartment in Richardson, but we weren't sure about the district... I am happy to hear that you had a good experience there!
