This is just for fun. So, please, not to be taken seriously.

I just wanted to know what freeway do you guys feel is the worse. As far as traffic, congestion, travel times to destination, etc. I know some big newspaper did this and I-45 and I think 35 were on it, but I want to know yall's experiences. Feel free to add a personal experience.

For me:

Houston: 59, 610 and I-45. Specifically, Southwest frwy, West Loop and North Frwy . 59 is ridiculous to me! And I don't get on 610 at all on Saturdays! I've never driven down 290, but on any given day, on my way driving west on 610, the traffic begins to build the closer you get to the 290 exit.

Dallas: 635!!!! Omg! I think this is the worst freeway in Texas! I know it's under construction, but I have YET to drive on this freeway without bumping into traffic...I was driving on 635 at 11pm on a THURSDAY and it was at standstill bumper to bumper traffic!

IH-35E/IH-30 area in Dallas. Unbelievable cluster at all hours. Actually, pretty much all of IH-35 from Denton to south of San Antonio.

Since these above posts are based on observation, I'd like to point out the real facts:

IH 35 from north SA through Austin. It is terrible.

IH 35 in Laredo sucks too, because it congested with nothing but 18 wheelers.

I voted I-35 in Austin.

Without a doubt the WORST freeway I've traveled in Texas.

I vote for I-35 from Waco to Austin due to all the night construction from a truckers point of view
