Is there any alternatives outside the Longview area schools (but close enough so we can keep our jobs) so my son can get a fresh start at a good school? Spring Hill is not for us- he has never fit in and is tired of trying. He is a Christian, very athletic, but has some past issues he can't shake here. I only want to change once- don't mind smaller or larger school. What about Kilgore, Gladewater, Gilmer, Union Grove, Liberty city, Tyler ... anywhere? Does anyone know about the Christian schools around here also? Thanks-

Harleton would be one worth checking into.

I sent a Direct Message also.

You should try Grace Community School. They have a wonderful program and the kids are all so encouraging to each other. My husband works in Dallas and we live in Tyler so our kids can be at this school. It is a sacrafice to live and work so far away, but one well worth it. They have a good football team with a wonderful christian coach who came here 2 years ago from Gilmer. We have lots of people who live here and work in Longview. It can be done!
