I've been seeing a lot of articles about the Democratic Party trying to turn Texas into a Blue State for future elections. Democrats launch plan to turn Texas blue – Alexander Burns – POLITICO.com I was wondering if anybody from Texas had an opinion on the issue, whether or not they believe it will or could possibly happen?

There is a thread on this on this same topic just right down the page on the main Texas page. You don't even have to search for it.

Depends on what color of blue you're looking for. A liberal in Texas may still be considered conservative by northeastern U.S. standards. If that's the color of blue you're thinking then no, not gonna happen. You're average democrat wouldn't allow it.
