Nairobi? As HPR said, let's respect your thread topic by limiting the number of videos. I agree...but I can't resist THIS one! LOL

Yep! Forgot him, too!

We also forgot one of the greats....Ray Price! He's still touring some, and did an album recently.

Too bad we can't claim the likes of Fiddlin' Frenchie Burke (born in Louisiana, but moved to TX as a child), Emmy Lou (as was previously mentioned), Charley Pride (MS) and Roy Clark (VA)!

No, I hadn't forgotten Don Williams. He's definitely a great. I just have not included him because I had included him in the Lubbock area musicians list. He was born at Lockney, Texas in 1939.

I already posted this on the Lubbock thread but I had to share here that the tribute CD to Guy Clark is incredible and has a number of Texas musicians that sound wonderful singing Guy Clark's classics.
My favorite is Terry Allen doing Old Friends. Hauntingly beautiful. Jerry Jeff doing My Favorite Picture of You is very nice. Jack Ingram version of Stuff that Works is great. Robert Earl Keen doing Texas 1947 is good as well. John Townes Van Zandt doing Let Him Roll can bring tears to the eye. All are done nicely and it is a treasure of a CD to own.
