Hi everyone!!

So I have been really thinking about moving to Dallas, but have a few questions.

How is the job market right now? I have a bachelors in marketing and management and am really open to anything except outside sales.

I have a lot of serving experience. I was thinking that if I didn't get a full time job before I moved, that I could serve at one or two places and probably make enough to be okay. Are these jobs hard to come by?

Some of you are probably wondering why I want to move... Well, it is because I have been thinking about it for years and realize that I am not getting any younger. I'm a 26, single female with nothing holding me back right now. I live in the Detroit metro area and just want to see what it is like somewhere else. Not to mention, I don't like the weather here. I was looking at apartments in uptown and was also considering the village apartments but I might be a little too old for there. I do like the bar scene but a little older crowd. I don't like hanging with a bunch of college students. Just looking for feed back. Thanks!! 😄

Work in Texas dot com < no spaces; the dot is a . (dot). Search All Jobs, use key words such as Dallas, and job functions. Work in Texas is a part of the Texas Workforce Commission for employment assistance in Texas. It might give you an idea of the job market.

Good luck...
