Moving from Memphis to Dallas where the women are plenty and men are scarce. Wondering if its the same in Dallas. Are the men afraid of independent women in Dallas as they are in Memphis??

Nope. In Texas, the men are men, the sheep are nervous, and the women are barefoot and pregnant.

In Texas, women glow and men plunder.

No, wait - that's Australia. Oh well...

All men are different. Even each Texas man is different. Can't generalize.

I have a Texas husband who LOVES this independent woman...and he's about as manly as a man can be. Yum.

I notice a whole lot of Memphis, TN folks moving to Dallas these days. You're like third person from Memphis in a month who has asked about relocating to Dallas.

That's ok. There are so many transplants here that you can't generalize. I can't imagine anyone being "afraid" of an independent woman, unless of course you're pointing a gun at them. Now that I think of it, I suppose some men in Texas might even like that, too.
