We moved back to Midland and chose to use Grande for our internet and TV. For starters, we never get the speed we pay for, but we let that slide a little bit. However... Our internet goes out every other day. We have had technicians come out and look at our lines and equipment and they see nothing wrong. As you can imagine, this is annoying. They always have outages and when we call in we are told our modem is offline. They can never trace the problem or let us know how/why our modem always gets offline. We have tivo and really do not want to change to ATT and lose the Tivo but we also wants service that works.

To anyone in Midland, TX: Which service do you have? Any problems? Past problems? What you like.. etc. We do not want to change companies only to have the same problems. Thanks!

What a bummer. I used Grande in Midland for several years, and rarely ever had problems. I'm sorry to hear that they've apparently gone downhill.

But I left in 2007 after having Grande for a few years, so I don't have any suggestions for another provider.

Suddenklink in Tyler, at least, has really improved added and added services, taking over much of the area. Look into it closely. Good luck.

Suddenlink in Midland provides really fast dependable internet. there are currently 5 different speeds to choose from. 3,15,30,50 and 107m speeds. I got the best deal from a direct sales guy going door to door.

Grande has the Longhorn Network...just sayin. I've never actually had it.

I do now from experience that Sudden Link provides excellent customer service.

We switched to AT&T back in Midland after years of using Suddenlink and never looked back. AT&T was cheaper for one thing and less problematic!

When were your last two posts, your experience with Suddenlink, looks like most of us have have had good results with Suddenlink. Oh, I forgot, you are still bringing up "old threads" lol, shame on me, we had this discussion earlier. Sorry, still no work for you in the "oil" business in Midland/Odessa? I hope that changes quickly, just wanted to support Suddenlink, lol
