Hi,

I am curious what part of Texas is doing best economically? I know Texas is #1 for business right now. I have considered moving out of CO because I am not finding the type of high tech sales jobs in Denver metro and have thought about leaving for new scenery after 10 years of being in Denver.

For example, I am wondering if Austin would be a better job fit, Dallas, or maybe Houston is better than both?

Look forward to you replies.

TIA

Well, Austin is the spearhead of the Texas high-tech economy in general. But what are you looking for specifically?

High tech white collar sales job. For example, I have sold Shoretel phone systems and they have a presence there. Also Dell is there as well as RackSpace cloud computing. These types of jobs. The reason I was unsure about Austin is the housing prices are quite high as high as Denver metro.

No place in particular I believe I saw housing costs on HGTV a few years back 350-400k for SFR which is the same as here.

I was surprised because I have heard Texas has lower COL which I would expect because of the weather.
