I think the real reason is you think (in your opinion) that the weather should obey your whims. In my opinion, I should win the lottery, my kids should become rich and independent with no help, and world peace should break out right now. Because that is the way I want it, then that is the way it should be, damn realities!

They do get typhoons and they also have a monsoon season, but both of those types of events are very predictable.
If it's every a realistic possibility, that might not be a bad idea. The thing is, maybe I'm participating in a ridiculous disposition of "my mind is made up don't confuse me with facts" type of thing, but I will ALWAYS view it as a wrong to be righted when the weather isn't normal, especially when it's either raining more than it should or when you experience the springtime roller coaster stupidity. The latter especially gets on my ever-loving last nerve. It's just not right for it to do that, I don't CARE what weather patters are, I don't CARE if it has done it since the beginning of time--to me, it just shouldn't do it. Period.

How serious do I take it? If the man upstairs granted me one wish, this would be the wish I would ask for. I wouldn't ask to live to be 95 years old, or my wife and kids do the same, or that things like what happened in Cleveland for 10 years never happen again--no, normal and "non-roller-coaster" weather (especially springtime) is what I would wish for.

Well, maybe win $10 million so I can afford to move to Guam, ha ha.

It's cool again this morning on the South Plains but the best part is that we received .3 inch of rain yesterday. It may have been a little more as I didn't check the rain gauge until this morning. There's a 30% chance for scattered showers today and tonight so hopefully it's not over.

Yeah we got some good rain yesterday morning but still not enough to help the lake levels. Expecting more rain tonight though.

The small town of Olton, Texas is facing a major dilemma if we don't get some rain soon.

As well, the drought is hurting New Mexico.
