This is a horrible place for a fishing report dude!

Try here:

Bass Fishing Reports for Texas from the Bass Fishing Home Page (http://www.wmi.org/bassfish/reports/texas/index.html - broken link)

and here:

Freshwater Reports - Texas Fishing Forum

Better fish are in 6'-10' foot of water and in post spwn mode.

Carolina rigged soft plastics in hues of green. Also Texas rigged plastics same colors.

Grass is the key, fish grass and catch fish!

Wife and I had 12 on Tuesday up to 4 lbs in 4 1/2 hours.:

Big Sam - Texas Fishing Forum

Also medium running crankbaits in whites and silvers fished in ditches and drains up to 12' will get you some better fish. Again grass is the key!

Have fun fighting the crowds in The McDonalds Circus and Zoo ... better plan on being at the launch around 0400-0430. I fished it in '95 when there were over 6500 entries. Should be around 3,000 this year. Pray for good weather and low winds ... Rayburn is dangerous in any winds over 20mph ... especially in any boat less than 20'.

Sounds like I need to get down there and find out for myself. It's that time of year, so I'm taking my boat wherever it takes me, baby!!
