Surfing sux in Texas ... move to Hawaii.

If that is not that important (surfing) then that leaves fishing and not too touristy ... that is anyplace but Galveston or lower Padre Island. If the first name of the town starts with the word "Port" then it'll work. The two mentioned above along with Port Aransas.

Any bets on whether this'll be a one hit wonder?

Default I love Hawaii!

Actually my daughter lives in Hawaii, I'd love to move there but its not feasible. I'm actually trying to find a place she would want to move too. She's a surfer and apparently once you start surfing you will do anything to stay where you can surf everyday!

Default moving to texas

I'd love a small town within an hour of a bigger city. Need good schools, probably renting until I'm sure about which area or neighborhood, I really want to be by the ocean , and I'd love it to be in a small community not made up by tourists. We love to be outside, hiking , biking, camping, fishing,
