I'm really starting to think Texas is being punished for something.

High 90s all week. No rain in the forecast until Independence Day. Rollercoaster drought conditions. Meanwhile, my former residence of Atlanta, GA has only seen average highs in the 80s, and has received 9 inches of rain this month. I am jealous right now. My friend who still lives there decided to rub this in my face.

Is God coming down on Texas? And why is he being so nice to Georgia? We're more Christian than they are, right?

Nah, Texas is always hotter than hell in the summer. I personally love it when the earth splits open and you get a half-inch wide crevice that's 5 feet long and 10 feet deep.

I never think of June being dry and hot. I've always remembered it as humid and wet.

Haha no. That's just silly superstition.

The truth is that the Flying Spaghetti Monster is punishing the entire world for its lack of pirates. It has been scientifically proven that global temperatures have increased as the number of pirates has decreased.

I suppose it depends on the part of Texas. So far, everything is pretty status quo in DFW. Its even cooler than last summer by a couple of degrees.

It's a well known fact that it's the Ford Mustang's fault.

The weather is normal, or actually a bit below normal. In my area the first 100 degree day was June 11. This year still hasn't got there. And if God is gonna get mad at Texas, it'll be on the middle Saturday of the State Fair, about 5p.m., or earlier if He's just really mad.

You'll know when the River runs Red

Water is wet, women have secrets and Texas gets hot in the summer. I thought everybody knew this.
