I love the views of the states on the Smithsonian Channel's Aerial America series. This coming Sunday, Feb 23rd at 7 pm CST, Texas is finally featured on the series. If you want, you can watch the episode online now on the Smithsonian Channel's website.

Awesome! I just added the Smithsonian Channel to my Roku channels - I'm going to check and see if it's on there yet. Thanks for the heads' up.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it. I thought they did a decent job on Texas. There is a lot to cover and they touched on a pretty good amount for the limited amount of time.

I watched about half of it and really enjoyed it. Would have watched it all but had to leave. Strangely enough I had no problems turning it off which I certainly would have done if I foud it unenjoyable Thanks for sharing it. I'm going to have my 12 year old watch it soon. I wish they'd show it to the kids when they are studying Texas history. It would be perfect!

Besides what it left out, and some of the BS they covered, like the "Disaster city" crap, as if that is a big part of the history of Texas or of any special interest what so ever. I can not believe that the Smithsonian Institute, a part of the U.S. Government, would not take the Warren Commission Report, as the "fact" of what happened "that day". Instead they play into conspiracy theorist by saying "we may never know what happened that day". I smell CBS, and Showtime, not wanting to close any doors on future productions pandering to those conspiracy theory's. Oh we want to keep those documentaries coming, and that's fine coming from CBS and Showtime , but not the Smithsonian, and it is their name that adds credibility to this "treatment" of Texas.
