Right... it said they measured by per capita... Conroe's small population boosted it. I would have thrown out cities with populations below a certain number in doing a list like that.

Better yet, how can San Antonio and South Padre not even be on the list?

The list is garbage. Any most exciting list that has Conroe, Bryan, and Tyler on it shouldn't be taken seriously.

Part of me feels like this list was a joke of some sort.

I stand by my statement that I dont really find anywhere in Texas exciting, but if were talking about the most exciting places in Texas:

1) The late night eating in Houston
2) Uptown Dallas
3) 6th Street in Austin

and thats really about it. I suppose you could throw the Riverwalk in there too, but it seems more familiy oriented.

For me, the most exciting thing about Houston and Dallas is the level of diversity in these cities. Getting the opportunity to meet, live among, work with, and befriend people with origins from all over the world; often times from places many people have never even heard of. I also love the hustler spirit in Houston and watching this city change so rapidly before my eyes. It has yet to arrive on the world stage, in terms of culture and entertainment, but it's still an exciting time to be in Houston.

Everybody, just relax and look at the details. Yes, they are different, but if you want to use these criteria, why not.

I was wondering how SA could not have been on the list. But as stated above; anything with Conroe, Bryan, and Tyler as exciting cant be taken seriously.

I don't agree with South Padre. Aside from the beach and Schlitterbahn, maybe, there is nothing exciting about South Padre.
