We leave Texas in the morning for our pilgrimage back to our home state of California.

We have enjoyed our time in the great state of Texas and will miss many things. Is it possible to love both states? Yes it is, as long as you allow for the obvious differences. In addition, all four of our children were born here, the oldest just graduated here in Texas and will attend UCLA next fall. I was educated in California, but built my career in Texas and will continue it in California.

Thank you Lone Star state we will miss you!

Glad you enjoyed it while you were here. I will always be a Texan, but my heart isn't here. Oh and go to Babe's Chicken for me before you leave please.
