I would love help on picking out some towns in Texas to look in to moving.I want some where with affordable housing but with land but also i would like some where that i can still drive to the store for like milk and eggs and not have to drive and hour away. Any Ideas anyone.?????

So you want leave one mess for another? It is really overcrowded here, it is hot here, it is competative here and it is not affordable any longer. Good luck.

Austin/Texas is super _uncrowded_ (check the population density) and definitely affordable in comparison to NJ.

Sounds like this should be posted in the Texas forum. Don't see any questions specific to Austin.

Dont be a fool. The eyeball test proves otherwise. Its really devistating to see this area be destroyed by outsiders without a fight. Texas may be relatively "super uncrowded". Austin certainly is not. The impact of this ridiculous growth phenomenon is extremely devastating.

Austin got _less_ dense in the last census. We're sprawling, not crowded.
