My wife and I left San Antonio to move to Virginia to be closer to her family, but have found the housing to be completely out of site so we have decided to move back to Texas. We had looked at Angleton once as possibly a place to retire, but since we are starting over again thought maybe we would go here instead of back to San Antonio. We were wondering if there are jobs avaliable in the area or does most eveyone work up in Houston and also if there is much trouble with flooding or from storms from the Gulf. Also is there a better area of town or any areas to stay away from. When we were there a few days in 2004 it seemed like a nice place with very little crime. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.
