Anyone know much about Diboll, TX? It's pretty close to Lufkin, so you could have the small town living but be close to more amenities. Seems like it would be nice to have easy access to national forest land so long as the town isn't horrible. Small towns usually seem to be hit or miss so I was curious what East Texans thought

Been a while since I was down that way, but it is a typical small East Texas town. Cops used to run heavy enforcement on 59 there. Minimal employment other than stuff like the Dollar Store, sawmill, etc from what I remember. More employment in Lufkin.
