OK, this is getting nuts. I was happy that there hadn't been any damage at all this week with the high winds and then I heard BOOM! The wind took my screen door and crashed it against the house, breaking the glass.
I called the contractor who's done work for me in the recent past and left a message on his cell phone. He called back and said he's done 3 door replacements already today and the calls keep coming, so I guess it's been happening to a lot of folks.
Sheesh, I hope the wind settles down soon!

I think it's supposed to calm down a bit over the weekend here and then start up again on Monday.
Well, there's one positive in this -- I was just about to buy a new, nicer storm door and hadn't decided on one yet. I would have been REALLY upset if a brand new door was smashed!

Well, there's one positive in this -- I was just about to buy a new, nicer storm door and hadn't decided on one yet. I would have been REALLY upset if a brand new door was smashed!
