OK, this is getting nuts. I was happy that there hadn't been any damage at all this week with the high winds and then I heard BOOM! The wind took my screen door and crashed it against the house, breaking the glass.

I called the contractor who's done work for me in the recent past and left a message on his cell phone. He called back and said he's done 3 door replacements already today and the calls keep coming, so I guess it's been happening to a lot of folks.

Sheesh, I hope the wind settles down soon!

I just make sure to hold onto the car doors when opening them so they don't go flying off their hinges

So far no damage around here (whew)

We got another day of it tomorrow. The NWS in Austin/San Antonio issued a Red Flag Warning from noon to 6:00 PM for Friday.

Yeah, it's bad today, but not that much dust. Makes it cold, tho.

It was very windy here today! My back porch umbrella flew off, luckily no damage to any windows....

Supposed to continue on to tomorrow. Try to keep things indoors y'all.

Yes, every morning I get up and turn everything in my yard upright only to come home from work and see it blown down again. Very tired of it.

I came home from work today and looked around the back yard to see if the wind had misplaced anything. Saw 3 different neighbors homes with shingles blowing off them.

I think it's supposed to calm down a bit over the weekend here and then start up again on Monday. Well, there's one positive in this -- I was just about to buy a new, nicer storm door and hadn't decided on one yet. I would have been REALLY upset if a brand new door was smashed!
