I don't think my smart-alecky feelings came out too well with what I originally posted. I have been in and around Lubbock for over 30 years, and absolutely love the area, and love Lubbock as well. The prevailing complaints among college students from bigger cities is that they are bored because there is nothing to do. I can find more to entertain me in Lubbock that I will ever be able to do before I die, however many college students need to "be entertained" instead of being capable of finding or creating their own entertainment and seem to think that Lubbock offers nothing for them.

Simply my $0.02, and worth what ya paid for it.
