What I read into that is that they'd rather see the country suffer to benefit their political party than see the country prosper (under any president regardless of affiliation). That's wonderful.

Depending on how fast you want the USA to be a socialist country is related to who gets elected. Obama, the most liberal Senator, will get you there the quickest, followed by Clinton. McCain is the least liberal.
With all the dictators out there, expanding their militias, rest assured that the liberals will weaken our military.

Right now, the majority of it appears to be leaning towards McCain. This is still pretty much a Republican state. There's not any drastic change taking place just yet.

Blah Blah Blah. The same ole rhetoric we've heard for the last 8 years.

Texas will go Replubican this year in the general election. I think the country is Bush-fatigued however. Although McCain is a moderate, he's already hinting at attacking Iran and staying in Iraq indefinitely. The country aint goin for that. We'll definitely see a democrat in office this year.

The question was regarding the primary, not the general election.

I think we should embrace the inevitable. Unaffordable healthcare for everyone. Crazy High taxes. Completely elliminate land borders, MexAmeriCanada. New Currency. For this to happen quickly with the least pain, we will need a complete nimrod in the White House. You know... someone for us to laugh at while we get completely taken advantage of by the governmental elite, such as Robert Pastor. I am voting for Al Frankin.

this guy cant be serious can he.....remind me what the government has done for you?? cause where I am sitting at they havent done much for me. Being middle class is a struggle my friends thats the real world. Yet here is our country giving welfare to anyone and everyone so that they can get their sneakers on friday. I grew up in NYC and you know what im talking, their goes the "single mother" with 5 kids whose father works off the books getting angry that the check didnt come through.

Maybe I am going off on a tangent the point I am trying to make with my comment about NASA is that America needs to prioritize what they want to do. Thats all, and one more thing yes voting is a right, and I have the right granted to me by my government to vote if I want to, or drink a beer this coming November when everyone is out at the polls......Oh and another thing there are actually only a few countries that dont vote for their leaders but what do i know im not a political major.

Although I wish Obama would win, my bet is that Hillbilly will carry Texas. Hopefully my perception of the majority there is wrong!

Well, if Obama gets the nomination, this Democrat will vote for a Republican for president for the first time in her life. With all of the turmoil in our country now, I will NOT cast my vote for someone with precious little experience who thinks that catchy slogans and preaching is what this country needs.

California didn't have sense enough to pick Obama over Clinton. It certainly would say a lot about Texas if they did the reverse. I've never thought much of Texas because I've never been there. But last year I got a great job from a law firm based out of Houston, and it is really putting the state on the map for me. Would like to see the state be among the most enlightened and progressive in the country and go for Obama. This certainly would show that Texas, like the rest of the states that picked him over Clinton, has a lot more on the ball than California.

California is simply pathetic in this regard.
