I have not been to South Padre yet, but we were at Padre - Port Aransas last summer and it's extremely family friendly... definitely not for the "teen, young adult party crowd" - and the beach looked just like above even during "peak time".


We had a great time - and going into Corpus Christi for things to do was very easy (Aquariam, musuem tours)
