Has anyone ever visited King Ranch, and is it worth the trip? Describe your experiences.

I am planning on visiting it in a few months. I currently reside four hours away, and am making plans to visit Corpus Christi, then Kingsville.

According to their web site they have daily 1-1/2 long hour tours. Plus special pre-arranged 4-hour tours.

I doubt that it's worth a special trip but certainly could be worth the time if a person is passing that way for other reasons.

We were visiting Corpus and then driving down to South Padre. We did a tour of King Ranch and loved it!

It's worth your time. Lots of history there¡ I did a tour when I was in college and enjoyed it.
