Hi. I am moving from Arlington to Keller to a one bedroom apartment. I need the basics moved i.e., dressers, bed, file cabinet and other small items. I need to move an elliptical also but not sure if movers will be willing to move that since it is very heavy. Does anyone have recommendations for apartment movers in the area?

I have had a lot of success with Wildcat Movers. I used them when I first arrived in Texas to move from storage (which I put everything into on my own until I found an apartment), used them 3 times since with moves to other apartments. I came on my own, so it's not like I'm going to pick up a couch and whip it around up and down stairs, etc.

Pretty straight forward billing last time I used them - $40 non-refundable travel fee upfront (not applied to hourly charge - this is separate) and $130/hour. You can tip if you wish (and I did). That includes use of their truck and equipment and brings two guys to move items. No other charges that I saw. Guys arrived on time to the reservation time and kept to task - didn't screw around to waste time and run the bill up. I would use them again (though hopefully not real soon!).

They will pack boxes if you wish, but again it's $130/hour. I always packed my own boxes and "paid myself" $130/hour.

Additionally, they usually have a Yelp deal online to save some $$$ so check them out there.

They are also bonded and insured, so you can have more assurance they will run professionally.

We used 2 Men & a Truck when we moved in. Three guys showed up, unloaded our stuff from a U-Haul to our apartment. It wasn't that expensive. They bill with a flat fee and then bill based on time spent, if I recall. At the time though we didn't have much stuff, not much furniture. They were good though, and we'd use them again.
