Because the army unjustly invaded the South because Lincoln and his minions wanted to keep the South as its cash cow to finance their own interests. Southerners did not commit treason. Thhey took up arms to defend their land.

Maybe it is time for those who want to remove statues to Confederate heroes to stop imagining most blacks are with them on the issue. See the article below which cites polls that say otherwise.

Sorry that you can't seem to grasp the meaning of the term. Majority (largest single group) makes up less than 50 percent of the population (minority).
