COME ON, RAIN! Decent chances for rain in our forecast here in northeast Texas for the next two days. 40 percent. I'll take that.

It is and has been raining in Central Texas this morning and DFW metro, but moving Northeast as it dissipates. Weather.com forecasts 80% late tonight and early am Tuesday, past needing rain in Tyler.

Cold front made its way to Central Texas, Texyn it wasn't tropical in nature, it was typical westerly cold front. This means the "dome" slid further southwards. For instance Houston didn't get in on the action but it's still raining in Dallas and they will only have a high of 86 today.

This means the dome isn't going north like you said it would allow for tropical easterlies.

Nope this means the dome will have to build back in north as it always does...
