I usually buy mine from our local Grocery store bakery. They have some real good pound cakes and pies. I make my own some, since hubby is diabetic. We don't eat a lot of sweets, but since we have 10 grandbabies, we have to have some on hand. =)

Red Oven is the BEST! It is still there, but be forewarned they don't take credit cards. They're technically in Pantego, off of Bowen and Park Row, right behind Jade Cafe. The service there is amazing and they have wonderful ready made (or custom order) cakes and cupcakes. If I get married in Arlington, they will definitely make the cake.

I found it! Couple weeks ago while out running errands I made a detour to this area. Funny I never noticed it before. My daughter used to attend Awanas at the Pantego Church near there and my dentist is nearby. I did go in and get their card and I bought a red velvet cupcake for good measure. I will be back!

I always thought that Mrs Baird's would have had slightly larger sizes. Odd.

Talking Some More Frosting, Please

Hey, folks, if you like cupcakes, check this out. It's new to Texas, but it's been a big Vegas tradition. I may go check out this place soon (it's in Frisco at the Shops at Starwood). The owner, by the way, is a native Texan.

Here's the link. The Cupcakeryâ„¢
