Houston has a downtown baseball stadium
Dallas has an observation tower as a distinctive feature of its skyline
Houston has HEB, the official grocer of Texas
Dallas has teams for all four major league sports
Dallas has Nebraska Furniture Mart

Houston has a deep water sea port , Dallas does not , neither does Fort Worth BTW....

Dallas has more of a rolling terrain...Houston doesn’t.

Houston has a major public research university within the city limits.
Houston has the medical center.
Houston has Johnson Space Center.
Houston has Galveston.

Dallas has way more nice suburbs.
But the big one - Dallas does not have hurricanes.

Houston technically doesn’t have Galveston. Are you thinking of metro area instead?
