Yeah, I love those old feed stores.
You got it. Nothing like it.

We were just relocated from the Lampasas area- and I miss it!! We're down near galveston now.
I have my house up there for sale by owner if you're still looking. We bought 1/2 acre in Kempner, part of lampasas County- but "away" from any towns. ( I love my quiet!!)

We're very negotiable on price- and we may have to rent it out if we can't sell soon. We will be stationed down here until retirement & no chance of moving back up there. It's a great place to live & raise kids. I miss my quiet mornings

Well, I live in Lampasas and my family goes back 6 generations here. Blah ! is the word that sums it up.
Small towns all have their eccentricities. I am not fond of some of what lives here but that is because I know all of the dirt on people here. Trust me move to Bastrop, Fredericksburg, or somewhere that has a real economy or you will wind up working at Ft. Hood or worse, for the city.
Yes, I own a bunch of property here and no I do not work in town.
