Texas will be a major political battleground in the 2028 election. Possibly the battleground, since I think the likes of Ohio are going to become more Republican. I think it's more likely to become like Arizona or Colorado than someplace like North Carolina (probably like Arizona).

What you guys need to think about is not only the growth, but the attrition. A huge swath of older white population born between 1930 and 1950 is going to pass on in the 2020s - essentially the Silent generation and some of the early Boomers.

I predict the Dallas/Arlington Cowboys will continue to suck as long as Jerry Jones continues to own the team.

They just hired McCarthy so we'll see. McCarthy is a winner.

I think most lifestyles changed these past ten years. Somebody brought it up earlier for an example. In 2010, most people didn't use their cellphones except for of course, making calls and sending text messages. Fast forward to 2020 and we pretty much do everything through our phone.

I predict that my Texas South Plains property taxes will increase another 23% as wind turbines continue to push the market value of farm properties here downward.

Texas population growth will slow slightly.

Immigrants (legal and illegal) will continue to move to the state making it more diverse than other.

There will be slower corporate relocations to Texas (it would be nice to see more businesses organically grow from the ground up in the state). It’s hard to say what the fate of oil and gas will be. I suspect that there won’t be much change either way. The world is slowly moving away from oil, but continuing conflict in the Middle East could increase domestic and foreign consumption of American oil.

Are we sure about that? Aaron Rodgers got him fired from the Packers because he said he was too dumb to call the right plays and often over ruled him. Said he had "low football IQ" which fits perfectly well with the Jason Garrett style of coaching.

Somehow I don't think Dak and Aaron Rodgers are at the same level.

If it weren't for KC's Patrick Mahomes, I'd be rooting for Houston to win the Superbowl. That would just be great.
