The tech fields in Houston, Austin and Dallas team up to create war soldiers that go to Mexico and you’ll see a Robots vs Aztecs situation.

What’s to come isn’t so good. The powers of the Aztecs and Robots are so strong together that it blows up ending all civilization in the state. Then R. Kelly takes advantage and uses Texas as a place for his sex cult to prosper and repopulates the state in no more then 9 months.
This seems very likely.

Judging from their last game, you might be getting ahead of yourself. Lol

I know that people mention Waco growing but I live in temple and the temple/belton area is exploding. Cheap home prices. Just read a business journal and it’s the fastest growing area behind Dallas and Houston (percentage wise obviously)...but our downtown is being revitalized so the growth has been great in that sense

What you guys need to think about is not only the growth, but the attrition. A huge swath of older white population born between 1930 and 1950 is going to pass on in the 2020s - essentially the Silent generation and some of the early Boomers.
This is a realistic scenario.

I haven't lived in Killeen long but see construction all over the Killeen/Temple area. Have heard we're a cheaper alternative to Austin and that some people who live here commute there for work. I couldn't see making that drive everyday but I guess some people are ok with it.

Another recession will most likely happen by the middle of the decade, and I don't think the state will be as immune as it was in the late 00s. After that, it could be anyone's guess what could happen. We could also start turning purple, politically.

Do you mind if I PM you with some questions about Temple? The size of the area, proximity to big cities, and extensive healthcare appeal to me. Also appears the economy is going to be relatively stable in that area due to the large employers nearby.
