I was laid on yesterday due to COVID-19. I went to apply online, and it asks for the date of last employer. Those dates are Oct 2019 until yesterday. It then tells me I need to call the number. I know it's doing that because the duration is so short. I want to add that I have been steadily employed for years, I just left one job for a better one back in October. I have had no lapses in employment. But the system doesn't ask for all employment for the last year or years, just the last employer, and then gives me the message that I need to call.
