...I love the height of the buildings in GS's Development but the architecture reminds me of something out of China...or Houston......

Just announced....Yes I said announced!!!...

A New Boutique Hotel Is Coming To The Harwood District In Uptown Dallas.

https://www.bisnow.com/dallas-ft-wor...l-sheet-116911

Quote:
Hotel Swexan, set to open next summer, is a 22-story modern tower inspired by the multigenerational Swiss-Texan family heritage of the Barbier-Muellers, who founded Harwood International in 1988.

“The first-of-its-kind destination will introduce a new level of style and distinctive Swiss-inspired luxury to our great city,” said Jessica Young Reid, director of marketing for Harwood International. “We believe the hotel will add a vibrance to the community, which has always been central to our company’s mission. We hope the space will become a best-loved culinary, cultural, and nightlife destination right in the heart of Harwood District.”

It's hard for me to tell EXACTLY where this building will be...But I know it's close to the old ROLEX building because I can see it to the left......The problem is ...The Huge Fountain Pond Garden is what's directly next to the old ROLEX building and I hope they don't build this in that spot...that would totally change the harmony of the district.

I guess it'll be an even trade off when you take into consideration the amenities they promise to bring.....we'll see..

I think the further refinements look better. Cuz what they had before looked a mess lol.

The website is no longer working tho. I think I came across renderings that wasn’t suppose to be seen just yet.

^^^Austin really does. It makes no damn sense how impressive this is.

This is a video of the construction of the Waterline - Texas’ tallest building. It looks like this one is moving quickly. Skyline in the background at the end…

I read that there's another building proposed for Austin that'd be even taller by about 15 feet if approved known only as the Wilson right now. I'll try to find a link to an article.
