Were HEB another Walmart or even Kroger, sure. But HEB is superior and a far better customer experience. When given the option to pay less money for a better customer experience how would it make sense to take this as a bad thing? Lmao
I didn't say it was a bad thing....I stated why "I" prefer Central Market.......( I really just don't want Dallas to become Littered with H.E.B's like Houston is)...Its one on every corner in Houston... redundant and over done....Dallas can do without the Blight....H.E.B is more "Hype" than necessity.

I’m sorry. But anyone in the right mind would prefer be littered by HEBs than Walmart’s like Dallas is. Talk about unpopular opinions!

I wonder why HEB chose to expand in Mexico before Northern Texas. HEB's presence is huge in South Texas and in Northern Mexico.

Walmart was the only other (legit) competitor.

This is my point exactly...We are already "littered" with wal-mart and all the other cost-saving stores I listed earlier...WE DON"T NEED ANOTHER ONE!!!!!

Central Market has its own lane....and is the best at it........MORE OF THESE PLEASE!!

HEB isn't a Wal-Mart competitor. It competes with Tom Thumb and Kroger.

It is a Walmart competitor... especially in Dallas. Companies don't have to be exactly the same to be competitors. If you sell a lot of the same products, it's competition. And particularly in DFW, where for some reason people there are known to go to Walmart specifically to do their grocery shopping, it's definitely a direct competitor.
