Nice post. Here's one of the biggest developments in Houston both economically and architecturally speaking. TMC3 and Texas A&M are both attempting to turn Houston into the third major hub of biotech research (currently, it's Boston and San Francisco).

While many fields are causing delays, I don't think delays for these will be that big since healthcare is in demand right now.

Default Pues this is very impressive

TMC3 and Texas A&M are going to add quite a bit to the medical center.
They will not likely be affected by the coronavirus either.

That's why I said they won't be delayed. They are affected but oppositely. biotech is booming right now, they're rushing to getter done. TMC3 alone plans to bring nearly 30K jobs upon completion!

Down below I'm posting Two rendering clips. One for AMAZON and The Dallas Smart District concept.

This is really what that sleepy area of Downtown needs. Whenever it happens it will be an awakening for the masses. I can't wait!!!!!

The Dallas one is really just a concept rendering the design is to advertise its depth in capacity. Not the actual details....so the buildings look basic.

That AMAZON one was amazing. Im pretty what we get will be just as good or better.
I really love the Smart District plan. That would add a lot of momentum to the south side of downtown. I haven’t really given up on something going forward with that.

My other big wish is for this Vertical Campus to get built:

I still believe I-345 will eventually come down but the East Quarter development and The Epic are already filling in the gaps between downtown and Deep Ellum. Both excellent developments on their own. I know there could be so much more if that highway was gone.

Ft.Worth what are you waiting for.....The jobs and progress won't move in if your small town goals won't allow it.....ITS TIME TO GROW.....PERIOD!!!!!!
Quote:
The city of Fort Worth has the vibe, the culture and the quality of life that companies relocating to Texas desire, but without more single-tenant corporate campuses or office buildings that can house large tenants, mega-corporate relocations remain somewhat of a challenge for Cow Town. Wikimedia Commons Downtown Fort Worth "On the corporate relocation side, I know our chamber and economic development council are active in fielding people looking to relocate to the area or relocating their headquarters especially from areas in California and New York," M2G Ventures co-founder Jessica Miller Essl said at Bisnow's The Future of Fort Worth webinar Thursday. Fort Worth's downtown and surrounding areas are seen locally as prime relocation territory. But to bring in a Zappos or an Amazon, Fort Worth is going to have to tell a bigger story and help relocating companies envision their futures in the city, Majestic Realty Executive Vice President Craig Cavileer said. On environment, that's easy, but there's a big missing piece, Cavileer said. "Frankly, we don't have a building for them."

This is What I've always said about Ft.Worth. Its Has everything in place to grow but something is just keeping it from taking the first step.

The Good news is that it's finally being noticed..... Hopefully they realize that it's time to build now..... and its not an "IF" anymore...its a MUST!!!

It's more like Growth being the response to progression...You can only be a small town as long as the population reflects it.

The Levit Green development adjacent to the biomedical projects of TMC3 and the new Texas A&M campus is important here. Plans to be the central square that connects all the institutions in the Texas Medical Center. Which is interesting because TMC3 planned to do exactly that.
