San Antonio did have any.
It seems that the new immigration is only from the third world countries. Not much, if any, from Europe or other developed countries.

Maybe census don't ask that question?

Here is a bit more info:
https://www.towncharts.com/Texas/Dem...hics-data.html
Scroll down to the bottom of the article.
It says: 14.3% of population was born in another country. There is no other info.

85.68% of San Antonio residents were born in the United States, with 65.49% having been born in Texas. 8.80% of residents are not US citizens.
Yeah, the census doesn't ask what city/state/whatever you were born in. I know this cause I actually once worked as a census taker. I know it used to way back when, not sure why it doesn't anymore or when that changed.

Such has been the case for decades.

Absolutely true, but there are still many C-D members who insist that Western Europeans dream and life goal is to leave their country and move into the US where they could become slaves to the mighty dollar

I love my country but if I lived in Western Europe, there’s no way I’d be interested in moving here.

The link I posted shows that the US government changed their policy. It has nothing to do with who wants to come here.
Regarding western Europeans wanting to come here, well, there are plenty. It is very hard to get here though. I have a friend from Sweden and she says lots of Swedes (including her brothers) wish they could come here. My friend is going to be $70k in debt just to get a college degree here but it's worth it to her to be able to (potentially) come here to live. She has to find a job and a company willing to sponsor here when she graduates. Imagine that? We let in people from Asia and Africa by the hundreds of thousands.

Not true.

European immigration is net negative. That means more people who were born in Europe are leaving not trying to get here. Its easier to get here from Europe because so much of what INS looks at is how much money you have in your bank account. Getting student visas are SUPER easy for people from Europe. Ive got too many friends who did just that and said as much.

The link you posted didnt make it harder for Europeans to come here. It made it easier for non-Europeans to come here. There was a time when race and ethnicity were strongly considered. Now that isnt the case.

Are they leaving because they hate/are tired of America or because their visa expired?
