Just wondering what the area is like in general. I just saw some reasonable properties there.

It’s in the middle of nowhere. That’s why the property is cheap.

Good to know. I'm particularly seeking a middle-of-nowhere town. Just needs to be safe. Just need a place to park an RV part time

There is literally nothing there. If you like tiny towns far away from civilization, then this is your town.

The nearest decent sized town/city is Wichita Falls, 45 min to an hour away. Nothing but farm and ranch land and maybe scrub and mesquite vegetation in every direction. If you like wide open nothingness, then this is your town.

Seymour is a really small podunk town in the middle of nowhere between Abilene and Wichita Falls. Not much going on there at all.I dont know how safe it is according to the stats and crime rates.

From the reviews it seems decent if you are fine with a small town. Go visit and unless everything is completely run down and/or everyone and everything looks like meth runs the town you are probably good to go.

Thanks for this. I'm planning on checking it out. So far, sounds pretty ideal for my needs.
