If Beto hadnt run for president hed have had a better shot. But taking a firm stance against guns made it completely hopeless for him.

Yes, but the worst part is currently...he is doubling down on his anti gun nonsense.

If he TRULY was "doing this for the people of Texas" he would have a better handle on the wants, needs and interests of the people, but he is catering to his out of state leftist overlords that pay his way and that is not going to fly.

I want to do away with Abbott....don't get me wrong, but again, this Beto character is NOT the way to do it, sorry.

Abbott has his own primary to win first.

Beto is a fraud and a two time loser extremist. Surely the dems can come up with someone better.

Keep in mind that Beto was born and raised in Texas - he obviously knows the state political landscape, he wouldn't make comments regarding gun policy out of pure naivete. Something tells me that he has a trick up his sleeve - and the foolish Republicans won't even know what hit them.

The Texas republicans really are a bunch of clueless clucks.
But Francis was born & raised in El Paso and went to Columbia U. That doesn’t translate well with the rest of the state.
