Actually, Governor Abbott did no such thing with Jade Helm.
All he did about the silly uproar over that business was to send a couple of Texas State Guard duffers over to Bastrop to ask the involved parties what was going on..... just to quell the ridiculous fears of the conspiracy nuts.
