Ok. Also, before I forget - the Big 4 (EY, Deloitte, PWC, and KPMG) all have offices in Texas but I am unsure how large their footprint is. I've done extensive consulting work for Deloitte in their NJ office.

Charles Schwab has completed the move of their Headquarters to Westlake, Tx.
Westlake is in parts of Tarrant & Denton Counties. They have been hiring.

That's not the company's corporate headquarters. It's the Texas headquarters. Corporate is still in San Francisco.

Nope. Per Schwab's website, on the page where you download annual reports (italics mine):

For more information
The annual report as of December 31, 2020, prepared pursuant to Rule 17a-5 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, and is available for examination and copying at our headquarters located at 3000 Schwab Way, Westlake, TX 76262.

The Charles Schwab Corporation
For more information about the ultimate parent company of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., write to The Charles Schwab Corporation, Investor Relations, 3000 Schwab Way, Westlake, TX 76262; call 415-667-7000; email: investor.relations@schwab.com.

Now, the phone number given is still a 415, but when the company says "our headquarters", I'm taking them at their word.

Given the out of control taxes in Ca and even worse the increase in crime, I'm not surprised that California companies are leaving for Texas. I wish that I could say it is about politics but that is not a factor for most large companies as they tend to hold liberal views (at least publicly). Instead, all they really care about is their bottom line.
