El Paso: Really close to the old and the New Mexicos.
Houston: Oil refineries refining the oil from west Texas. Unbearable congestion, crime and humidity.
San Antonio: Mostly Texas-Mexican and Riverwalk musicians and food.
Austin: Stealing great music from other parts of Texas but probably should be a suburb of Los Angeles.
West Texas: Best music and people in the World and oil that supplies SE Texas' economies.
South Texas: Where English is a second language but only a short shallow wade to where it is.
Dallas: Money that supports the ruination of west Texas, e.g., wind turbines and disposal projects.
Fort Worth: The west side of Dallas.

Central Texas: There is no such animal.

El Paso: A smaller, but even more Hispanic populated percentage-wise version of San Antonio in the middle of the desert.

Houston: Loud, energetic, showy, humid, flat, swampy, coastal, cosmopolitan, metropolis, international flair, semi Black and Latino meccas, energy based economy.

San Antonio: Integral part of the state's history. Large US-born Hispanic population. Laid-back, military. Overshadowed by the other big 3.

Austin: Texas government, White collar, transplants, hippies, yuppies, a Texas version of Portland, Oregon and Silicon Valley.

West Texas: Deserts, stereotypical Texas.

Dallas: Keepin' up with the Joneses mentality. Where you follow the money. The northern suburbs is where it's at. Southern with Midwestern touches, Football, Dallas Cowboys, Dallas TV show, ranches, huge transplant population everywhere, never-ending suburban sprawl.

Fort Worth: Cows, cowtown, Just a huge west Dallas suburb struggling to find an identity.

Central Texas: Scenic areas, very Texas feel
