It's really hard to get enthused about any of them when each party works against me. I'm a "Joe Manchin Dem", but there are not too many of those in Texas.
I enthusiastically drove to campaign for Obama in New Mexico in 2008 and drove from San
Antonio to Houston to cast my vote for Biden (an anti-trump vote), but now see voting as an exercise in futility.
Yeah, Im pretty much exactly in your camp.

I will probably still vote for Dems on a state level. On a national level, Ill probably vote 3rd party for president. The reason for the state vote is because the state is dominated by the GOP. I dont want a blue state, but I will vote for a purple one.

On one hand, Ill never vote for Bible thumpers trying to impose their agenda on the rest of us. But Ill also not vote for politicians that openly embrace socialism.

To claim Texas is “shifting to the Right” implies that the state had once been right-wing, then moved leftward. When was Texas a centrist or liberal state?

Exactly correct. Well stated.

Of you voted for Obama and Biden...sorry...you are NOT "middle of the road."

Thats a pretty ridiculous statement.

Lots of people voted for Obama and Trump and then Biden. I personally know quite a few.

Being middle of the road means being able to look at both candidates and decide at that point and not having sold your soul to one party.

But...Obama and Biden ARE the same party. Their is almost no difference in their policies.

The problem is the extremes are running both these parties.

We need better...and more choices.

Yep and as awful as Abbott might be....replacing him with Beto, just because you are mad is NOT a good idea and will produce nothing good.

Many were angry at Orange Man and voted for Biden and now we have empty store shelves, inflation and 3.80 a gallon gas. None of those things help the average working person...in fact...they make things worse. Careful what you vote for....

This back and forth with 2 parties is getting old and not producing results that benefit the average person, sorry.

Well said. I would never vote for a guy like Trump but he is at least better than Biden.

I was never a fan of Trump, but I could never vote for establishment crony insider scum like Hillary Clinton. I think her kind (...and Biden and McConnell are also examples) are what ails DC and our political system as a whole.

People keep voting for insider crony DC establishment lifers and wonder why oh why is the country in the shape it is in...gee...I wonder! LOL
