We need to cut spending and seriously redirect it to helping our citizens. We spend too much on the military. We shouldn't be spending on foreign aid. We should get out of all of these treaties that are mostly paid for by us. We have all kinds of ridiculous things we spend money on when our own citizens are bleeding dry. We need to spend on infrastructure, mental health, help the homeless (not the drug addicts), if anything and I'm sure I can think of more things.

I think raising taxes will seriously hurt us but I do agree that we need to do something.

Sadly this will probably never happen and I hope pockets of America can secede some day.
