you are correct he has been in office too long, has too many special interests that he is accountable to and has become more in love with the fame and power than serving the people of Texas

He was a total fail on Uvalde

He's done nothing to reign in Patrick Paxton, or Miller

He took no responsibility for and did nothing to fix the grid failure. And one of his big contributors made a billion dollars out of the storm.
Not true about the tort reform. Thomas J. Henry says hello.

True about the border - which is necessary because of the massive failure of the federal government. But the poorly run foster child system is on him and the state lege.

He did not fail anything in Uvalde, that was a local screwup. He initially repeated lies that were provided by the locals, then quickly recanted when he found out what really happened.

How should he reign in those turds? He has no power over them. Vote them out, but don’t replace them with worse trash from the dems.

Power failure fail? Very few saw the chances of that coming, and yes, the lege addressed the worst of the problems to start fixing it. It will take time to fix the independent grid, which was a democrat innovation to begin with.
The haters were probably disappointed it held well up during this summer’s unprecedented heat wave.

Yeah, Abbott has been there too long, but he isn’t as bad as Perry was.
His opponent is unacceptable.

According to my mantra of don't re elect anybody, I'll be voting for Beto.
Good post, except I won’t vote for Beto.

Republicans haven’t changed much since the ‘60s, except to elect that clown in 2016.
The democrats went from the center to the far left after the ‘60s.

Don't really feel anything towards Abbott. Kind of just strikes me as an establishment Republican who maybe panders a little bit. Would rather have a Desantis type. With that said, I do not like Beto at all so Abbott will be getting my vote. The way the D's handled covid in their states traumatized me from afar lol. Should something like that happen again, I would NOT want one of them running the show. On the other hand if there were more D's like Tulsi Gabbard I might be more open to it. Sadly with the 2 party system and how both of them pander to the extremes, not gonna happen.

Interesting way of deciphering.

So your position is generally "the people" prefer a conservative type government?

And you agree FDR who was a big government socialist was conservative?

I don't care if Abbott eats puppies for dinner. There is no way in hell that skateboard bro Beto will get my vote. This isn't time for the damn JV team.

He's not as bad as that guy from Florida, and he's made sure we're not in such horrible place that California is in. So, not bad. Don't actually like Beto too much. Forgot why.
